The Montreal Olympic Cauldron Ring

Another Favourite of the year, white gold and a 1ct round brilliant cut diamond. I was pretty much given an open brief, it had to be a show stopper and the clients like my chunky, heavier designs it. I've used this base shape a few times and with the setting i was trying to make the stone look suspended a bit like an olympic cauldron...it actually looks more like the moscow olympic cauldron.
