As a jeweler its so rewarding to be asked to rejuvenate a wedding band. Time wears metal and after 36years this ring needed some attention. The original band was inverted showing the inside of the band and its engraved inscriptions. I had the crack band welded which was the best way to preserve the inscription. I then encased the ring in a silver sleeve with rails on each side. The rails will help preserve the engraving and gives the ring a modern update.
